I’ve gained a few pounds over the last months and I think it’s because after I stopped breastfeeding and pumping during the day (yes, I still breastfeed at night) I’ve continued to indulge in delicious and not always healthy foods on a regular basis. As they say, breastfeeding burns lots of calories.
So for the past month I’ve been trying to lose those pounds by going back to my pre-baby diet (not much success here) and by going for walks with the family.
Walking was a big change ever since we moved from NYC. I now walk from the house to the car and from the car to the office. I actually miss walking so we’ve been planning weekend hikes to different parks with the family, that way we get to explore different places and get a workout out of it. Making memories and creating a healthy lifestyle for the family.
